When I first saw this lovely etheric being emerge out of the painting, I became very excited. Here was a beautiful, poised, self-assured young woman who seems to be bringing forth a gift in her upraised arms. Behind her I could see the shadows of her former selves: Ego identities that no longer serve? Past lives? Haunting memories? However they are viewed, the emerging one seems to be popping through the veil of illusion into a new, fresh Presence. Other women in the shadows appear to be watching her progress. Perhaps they may follow her through the portal each receiving her own gift. It makes me wonder, “What gift will I find as I Emerge into Presence?”
