The face of this young child expresses the awe, joy and delight of experiencing life, fresh and new, from the viewpoint of innocence. One feels a sense of vitality and exuberance arising spontaneously as the child watches. The brightly focused eyes are both receiving and radiating love which is our natural state of Being. Perhaps the veil of forgetting has not yet fallen and the child still remembers the unconditionally loving, caring Divine Mother Father within. If we can return to that memory, we can be as free as this child; releasing old outdated fears, conditionings and beliefs to view life from a new, miracle-filled perspective. Over-lighting the painting, above the baby’s forehead, is a faint number 3, which has so many meanings. But to me (today) this represents the Hindu symbol of peace, love and family or connectivity which is an amalgam of the important qualities necessary in a balanced world. This painting inspires feelings of hope and purity for me as I imagine the breathtaking possibilities of a newborn world united with one heart in peace, kindness, mutual respect and cooperation. My hope is that each viewer may be inspired to feel the newborn Universal Human within, and begin to see the world with fresh eyes, in awe.
