Arising out of the darkness beneath a starry sky, this night bloomer reminds me that even during the darkest night of the soul, there is a beauty, a gift, waiting to unfold within us. I feel a sense of promise, freshness, hope and prosperity within the contrast of light within shadow and see this as a metaphor of a new consciousness, new perspective, arising in our human minds and hearts. Hidden within the heart of the blossom is the subtle image of a woman, just coming into form out of the opening petals. What gift does she bring, what message, what inspiration?
